Germany is full of wonderful culture that is just waiting to be discovered. Thousands of German cities between the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Alps are open to visitors. Each of them has its own unique character and impresses its guests with unforgettable accents. And there are so many historical landmarks worth paying attention to. This country is also revealed to us as the birthplace of magnificent works of art spanning different centuries. Unfortunately, I am not such a great connoisseur of them, but it is good to be surrounded by such an exceptional set of extraordinary treasures and to enjoy them in all their forms. Why not?!
But let’s start there: This will be my goal for visits and travelogues – Germany and its 16 States.
Each of them has a capital and I intend to emphasize precisely these cities with centuries of history, historical and cultural heritage. I live in Nuremberg. This is a city in the States of Bayern. Although for me this is the most beautiful city in this province, I must say that it is not its capital. The capital is Munich. But here is a list of the Federal States and their capitals, which I will focus on in the coming months:
